Present powers of dealing with undesirable Indians
under war legislation likely to terminate in near future.
In view of Indian Garrison necessary to retain powers of
deportation of seditious and undesirable Indians. Would
be glad of information as to powers permanently retained in
India for controlling movements of seditious persons and of
advice as to best method of dealing with problem here.
